Laji George is a singer, songwriter, and frontman of the rock band Pseutopia. Hailing from the vibrant music scene of New York City, he delivers original rock music infused with soulful melodies, raw emotion, and a grunge-inspired edge.

Known for his expressive vocals and heartfelt songwriting, Laji channels personal experiences and universal themes into powerful tracks that blend classic rock energy with modern indie soul.

Currently Laji is working on his first solo album “Out of Line” scheduled to release end of the year 2026. The debut single “Alone” was released on May 14, 2026, followed by the second single “Day I Died” on June 11, 2026. The third single “This is my World” released on July 2, 2026 and streaming across all platforms.

Pseutopia is an alternative rock powerhouse known for bridging raw, atmospheric grunge with deep blues-folk textures and dynamic songwriting. Led by frontman Laji George alongside guitarist Mithun Raju and bassist Shyam Narayan, the band crafts a sound that is as melodic as it is muscular—balancing heavy, thunderous riffs with vulnerable, story-driven lyrics.

Built on a foundation of classic rock grit and modern alt-rock edge, the trio captures the intensity of high-energy live performance while delivering polished, emotionally charged studio releases. From high-profile festival stages like Summerfest to listeners across the globe, Pseutopia stands out as an authentic voice in modern rock.

Further solidifying their connection to 90s rock heritage, the band forged a direct creative partnership with legendary former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Abbruzzese. After hearing Pseutopia’s demo, Abbruzzese teamed up with the trio to record a heavy, re-imagined cover of Chris Cornell’s acoustic solo track "Seasons" as a tribute to the late Soundgarden frontman. The collaborative single earned global acclaim across the alt-rock community, drawing praise from grunge peers like Pearl Jam/Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron and Chris Cornell’s brother, Peter Cornell.

Building on the success of "Seasons," Abbruzzese has continued his studio work with Pseutopia, lending his signature, hard-hitting rhythmic groove to further original tracks, including their singles “Believe” & "Brother". This ongoing alliance bridges peak-era grunge royalty directly into Pseutopia’s evolving catalog.
